Meals and Happy Hours:   As you stay at the Chateau De La Mer, you will enjoy the beauty and comfort of this amazing beach location.  During your stay:

 

All guests will be asked to plan a menu, purchase the ingredients,  prepare and clean-up for one (1) meal during the week.

 

Please see the chart below for your meal date/ time.

There is a Food Lion and a Harris Teeter located in Corolla, NC located five (5) miles away from the Beach house.

The meal assignments are listed below including the expected number of people eating at these meals.

The beach house has a commercial kitchen for meal preparation (Pictured).

 

Lunch will be on your own each day

 

Meal Times:

For those with Breakfast assignments - the request is breakfast be prepared and available between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM (for those who want to partake in breakfast).

 

For those with Happy Hour assignments - the request is happy hour be held from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM

For those with Dinner Assignments - the request is dinner be prepared and available around 7:00 PM.

Note: Some larger groups have been paired to provide both Happy Hour and Dinner.

 

The main dining room table seats 25 guests. There are an additional ten (10) seats at the counter in the kitchen, as well as seating in other rooms and at a seating in the bars and out at the pool.

 

The kitchen is fully stocked with all dinnerware, silverware, pots and pans and serve ware.  Basic appliances, such as a coffee maker, blender, toaster and can opener are provided.  

 

The pantry is bare, so please plan to bring the necessary ingredients for your specific menu.  CHECK OUT THE WHAT TO BRING Page as we are asking some guests to bring some basics that everyone will share so we do not have too many duplicate items (plates, napkins, milk, etc) to store or possibly throw away.
